Medication Management
Integrative psychiatry isn’t opposed to medication—it’s about optimizing your care. We’ll work with you to find the most effective medication that improves your mood and well-being while minimizing side effects. At the same time, we offer holistic approaches to help you gain additional support and, if possible, reduce your dependence on medication over time.
Lifestyle Coaching
The best medication in the world won’t be effective if your sleep, nutrition, or exercise habits aren’t supporting your mental health. Changing habits can be challenging, but we are here to help you make small, manageable adjustments that lead to significant, positive improvements.
Herbal & Plant-Based Medicine
Prescription medications are just one piece of the puzzle when it comes to regulating mood. We can work with you to incorporate nutritional supplements and plant-based remedies to support your mental health. If you’re already using supplements, we’ll help fine-tune your regimen to ensure you’re taking the right ones in the correct doses, while also checking for any potential interactions with your medications..
Supportive Psychotherapy
We begin the therapy process by truly listening to your story and understanding your unique needs. From there, we provide practical tools and strategies to help you gain self-awareness and break free from negative patterns. Some of the psychotherapy modalities we use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal Therapy
Therapeutic Diets
What we eat greatly influences how we feel, and food sensitivities that we may not even be aware of can affect our mood. We can guide you through therapeutic diets, such as the Elimination Diet, Mediterranean diet, and others, to identify potential triggers and make dietary adjustments that enhance your overall health and well-being.
Functional Nutritional Testing
Conventional lab testing often shows that your nutrient levels are “normal,” but that doesn’t always mean they meet your body’s functional needs. We can help you access cutting-edge lab tests that measure nutrient levels, organic acids, fatty acids, amino acids, oxidative stress, and toxins, giving us a deeper understanding to fine-tune and optimize your treatment plan.
Gut Microbiome Testing
There is growing recognition in the medical field of the critical connection between gut health, our microbiome, and mental health. We offer advanced stool testing to assess for maldigestion, inflammation, dysbiosis, imbalances in metabolites, and infections, helping us identify and address any gut-related factors affecting your mental health.
Advanced Hormonal Testing
Adrenal burnout and fatigue are common issues in today’s fast-paced world. We provide advanced salivary cortisol and melatonin testing to assess adrenal health, allowing us to better diagnose and address chronic fatigue.
Genetic Testing
No two bodies or minds are the same, and emerging research shows that our genetics can affect how we respond to treatment. We can use genetic testing to assess your predisposition to certain conditions, predict your response to specific medications, and tailor your treatment plan for optimal results.
